2019 Jeep Compass

<p>The 2019 Jeep Compass comes in four trim levels. The Sport trim is the standard trim level with 16-inch wheels and that distinctive seven-slot grille and headlights combination. Add roof rails and alloy wheels and you'll get that classic Jeep look, even with the two-tone roof.</p> <p>Next is the Latitude. It has larger wheels and even more options available, both for the exterior and the interior. The Latitude trim comes with active safety features including automatic headlights. This vehicle also comes with an optional tow-prep feature.</p> <p>The Limited trim level comes with 18-inch wheels and an upgraded exterior styling package that will delight Jeep lovers. Designed for comfort and appearance while on the highway, on a commute, or while outdoors in the country for a weekend getaway, the Limited not only brings a stylish, classic Jeep appearance, but also impressive equipment upgrades for the interior of the vehicle. </p> <p>Finally, there's the Trailhawk, the best reviewed of the trim packages in large part due to its excellent off-road capabilities. This vehicle comes with 17-inch wheels and off-road capable tires in addition to the Jeep Selec-Terrain system. With its raised suspension and assisted transmission, going over a multitude of surfaces is no problem, even if going uphill. The Trailhawk also comes with a matte-black hood, tow hooks, and skid plates underneath.</p>

All of the trim styles on the Jeep Compass come with a 2.4 L four-cylinder engine that provides 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque.

The 2019 Jeep Compass definitely has enough power for any trip you might want to take, whether it's a grocery run or a camping excursion into the wild. The Trailhawk is the best option for off-roading pursuits, in large part due to its excellent traction control system. However, with an independent suspension, the other Compass models do very well in everyday driving conditions.

<p>The Jeep Compass fits five adults comfortably with 39.2 inches of headroom in the front and 38.5 inches in the back. A spacious 41.8 inches of legroom in the front accommodates even taller drivers, while 38.3 inches of legroom in the back creates added comfort for passengers.</p> <p>The Jeep Compass boasts 27.2 cubic feet of cargo room with the rear seats up, increasing to 59.8 cubic feet with the seats folded down.</p> <p>An 8.4 inch touchscreen is the centerpiece of the technology package, which combines full smart device integration with voice control technology and Jeep's UConnect navigation system.</p>

On the Compass, active safety features are available, including collision warning systems, lane control, and a rear sensor for assistance with parking. You'll also find seven airbags, a rearview camera, and the traction control system that Jeep perfected with the second-generation Compass.
