2020 Chrysler Pacifica

For the 2020 model year, Chrysler pared down some of the available trim levels to keep things a bit simpler for buyers. The 2020 Pacifica comes in four trim levels, which are Touring, Touring L, Touring L Plus, and Limited. Standard exterior features on the base Touring trim include fog lights, 17-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, keyless entry and ignition, a power-operated lift gate and power sliding side doors, and remote engine start. Stepping up to the Touring L adds roof rails. The Touring L Plus has similar exterior features to the Touring L, as most of its upgrades are within the cabin. With the top Limited trim, you get xenon headlights, 18-inch wheels, power-folding side mirrors, LED fog lights, an auto-dimming mirror on the driver's side, and hands-free sliding doors and lift gate. The optional S Appearance, Red S Appearance, and 35th Anniversary packages further enhance the exterior styling.

Every 2020 Pacifica comes equipped with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that rates at 262 pound-feet of torque and 287 horsepower. It pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The only exception is the hybrid powertrain model, which is sold separately from the gas-powered version. This plug-in hybrid is an appealing option for eco-friendly drivers.

All 2020 Chrysler Pacifica models are front-wheel drive. The van also performs well in all types of driving conditions, offering responsive brakes and effortless steering. Although it's large in size, it also handles quite well with limited body roll and impressive steering precision. In speed testing, the Pacifica went from zero to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds, which is fairly quick compared to other models in the segment.

Within the cabin of the Touring trim, features include tri-zone automatic climate control, in-floor storage bins in the second row, cloth upholstery, third-row Stow ‘n Go seats, a conversation mirror, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Active noise cancellation features also keep outside sounds to a minimum. Standard tech includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, satellite radio, and a 7-inch touch screen. With the touring L comes heated front seats, leather upholstery, second- and third-row sunshades, driver memory functions, and a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel. Choose the Touring L Plus, and you'll get a larger 8.4-inch touch screen, heated second-row seats, a premium 13-speaker audio system, a rear entertainment system with a Blu-ray player, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and third-row USB ports. At the top of the list is the Limited, which boasts ventilated front seats, premium leather upholstery, and power-folding seats in the third row.

Standard safety features include a rearview camera, anti-lock brakes, air bags throughout the cabin, and stability and traction control. The available Advanced SafetyTec package tacks on a surround-view camera, lane departure warning, front parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic braking, and an automated parking system.
