2020 RAM 1500

The 2020 RAM 1500 comes in six different trim levels: Tradesman, Big Horn (Lone Star for Texas shoppers), Rebel, Laramie, Long Horn, and Limited. Exterior features of the base Tradesman model include automatic halogen headlights, heated side mirrors, and steel wheels. The Big Horn/Lone Star adds fog lights, chrome front and rear bumpers, and aluminum wheels. For off-roading, the Rebel is the best option, as it comes equipped with four skid plates, an electronic rear axle, and more aggressive exterior styling. With the Laramie, you get luxury features such as 20-inch wheels, LED headlights, fog lights, taillights, and daytime running lights, integrated turn signals in the side mirrors, an auto-dimming driver's side mirror, and a chrome front grille. The Long Horn model boasts a spray-in bedliner and side steps. With the top Limited trim, features include chrome trim elements and power running boards.

All six trim levels of this pickup truck come standard with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that pumps out 269 pound-feet of torque and 305 horsepower. The engine also includes the eTorque system. You can upgrade to a more powerful 5.7-liter V-8 engine that makes 410 pound-feet of torque and 395 horsepower. A new diesel-powered engine is also available as an upgrade that rates at 480 pound-feet of torque and 260 horsepower. All three engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

When properly equipped, the 2020 RAM 1500 with the V-8 engine can tow up to 12,750 pounds. You can also upgrade your truck to include a sophisticated software system, along with sensors and cameras that help keep you in control when you're towing a heavy load. An optional multi-function tailgate is engineered with a 60/40 split, allowing for more accessibility to the bed. This truck is also available with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

The base trim level comes with a 5-inch touch screen, a keyless ignition, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, manually adjustable front seats, vinyl seat and floor coverings, and a six-speaker audio system with Bluetooth connectivity. With the Big Horn, features include remote keyless entry, a 60/40-split folding rear bench seat, and carpeted flooring and upholstery. This model is also available with several options, including an 8.4-inch or 12-inch touch screen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. The Rebel trim adds power-adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and rubber front and rear floor mats. Step up to the Laramie to get the 8.4-inch touch screen as standard, along with dual-zone automatic climate control, a remote engine, power-adjustable pedals, heated and ventilated front seats, driver's seat memory settings, leather upholstery, a premium 10-speaker sound system, and voice controls. The Longhorn features premium leather upholstery, bucket seats, and wood accents. Choose the top Limited trim to get heated rear seats and an integrated navigation system.

Optional advanced safety features are available on the higher trim levels. These include lane departure warning, a surround-view camera system, forward collision warning with automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and a self-parking system.
