High-Output 3.0L Hurricane I6
The High-Output 3.0-liter Hurricane I6 engine remains a power-packed option, generating an impressive 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. Standard on Limited and Longhorn trim levels, this engine option pairs only with four-wheel drive and the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. Upgrade your ride with the new, top-of-the-line Tungsten trim, equipped with the available High-Output 3.0-liter Hurricane I6!
All-New 3.0L Hurricane I6
The 2025 RAM 1500 loses the HEMI V8 from its lineup for 2025, replacing it with the new twin-turbo 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six engine. This turbocharged option comes standard on luxury trims and is available on lower ones – like the Tradesman, HFE, Lone Star, and Big Horn. Drivers can expect 420 horsepower, up to 469 lb-ft of torque, and a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.
3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine with eTorque
This base engine takes entry-level trims to the next level with the 48-volt eTorque Mild Hybrid Technology System. Paired with the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission, the new RAM 1500’s standard Pentastar V6 engine cranks out 305 horsepower. It maximizes efficiency with up to 20 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.
