It’s crucial to make safety a priority when off-roading. These tips can help:
Tip 1: Know your limits.
Never attempt trails that are above your skill level. Doing so not only puts you at risk, but others sharing the trail.
Tip 2: Bring a friend.
Sticking to the buddy system is a wise idea, especially if something goes wrong. For instance, if your Jeep gets stuck in the mud, your partner can pull you out.
Tip 3: Inspect your equipment.
Before hitting the trail, make sure all your off-road gear is functioning properly.
Tip 4: Check your tire pressure.
Often referred to as airing down, lowering your tire pressure can help provide better stability and traction while on the trail.
