2019 Chrysler 300 at Santee Chrysler Dodge Jeep RamYour safety and security are our top priority and when developing new features for a car we strive to create something that will help you feel more comfortable behind the wheel. The Chrysler 300 is full of standard and available security and safety features that help avoid collision and help to protect you in case of a collision.

Protection in Case of Collision

Getting into an accidental collision is the last thing you want to think about, but we have done that thinking for you. The Chrysler 300 comes standard with features that will help to protect you. The Active Head Restraints and Advanced Multistage Airbags help keep you safe along with other mechanisms in place such as the Driver Inflatable Knee-Bolster Airbags. Drivers should always be proactive while driving in order to avoid having a collision but you can rest assured that, if one should happen, this car has safety features in place to help keep you covered.

Performance Integrated Safety Features

Safe and defensive driving should be every driver’s priority, but it’s not always possible to avoid certain dangerous situations or conditions on the road. Thankfully, whether you are aware of them or not, features that enhance your driving to help avoid collisions are always active on the Chrysler 300. Features such as All-Speed Traction Control are standard. This will help control, detect, and manage wheel slips by automatically applying brake pressure to the wheel that is slipping and applying torque to the wheels with more traction. The Electronic Roll Mitigation System helps to reduce wheel lifting potential while driving during evasive maneuvers.

Electronic Stability Control is also standard. It helps to sense the difference between the path you intended to take and the actual path that you are traveling. It can apply selective braking to help reduce engine throttle to guide you back towards your intended path. This features is not a replacement for attentive driving, but is in place should you stray from your path.

Advanced Technology and Safety Features

Technology and safety go hand in hand and with several standard and available features in place, it is easier to avoid collisions while driving. The available Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus System with Active Braking will alert you if a collision is detected. The Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection system is available to assist in viewing your blind spot zones. This system helps you to make safe lane changes by detecting a vehicle in one of your blind spot zones. The system will alert you with an audible chime and a light icon in the corresponding exterior mirror.

While none of these safety features are a substitute for active and safe driving, they help you navigate and steer clear of danger. If you should get into a collision, then the Chrysler 300 has more incredible features in place to help keep you protected.
