2026 Jeep Cherokee Key Highlights

The sixth-generation Cherokee is notable for its comeback, as well as the North American debut of the hybrid Cherokee.

Under the hood, you’ll find Stellantis’ new 1.6-liter turbo-four hybrid powertrain, which consists of an internal-combustion engine, two electric motors, and a battery. This system delivers 210 horsepower, 230 lb-ft of torque, and Jeep’s legendary 4×4 capability, so it’s ready to tackle nearly anything. You’ll also have up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity. And with an estimated combined fuel economy rating of 37 mpg and a range of over 500 miles on a single tank, you’ll spend more time on the road and less time at the gas station.

The new Cherokee is longer, taller, and wider than previous models, but it still has Jeep’s signature design elements like squared-off headlights and the seven-slot grille.
