The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE, expected to release in winter 2022, pairs a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor to help drivers save at the pump. Two battery packs supply 17-kW of energy, achieving a 24-mile electric range in all-electric mode and 440-mile combined driving range.
The 4XE plug-in-hybrid model is available in the Grand Cherokee Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve trim levels.
