4 Reasons Why the All-New 2019 Ram 1500 Is the Right Truck for YouThe Ram 1500 is a workhorse of a truck that’s designed to handle the rigors of the worksite and the demands of daily driving. The 2019 Ram 1500 takes this truck to the next level with top-of-the-line technology and new features that improve power and driver comfort. Here are four of the top reasons the 2019 Ram 1500 is the right truck for you.

Added eTorque

eTorque is one of the 2019 Ram 1500’s newest features. eTorque is a unique hybrid system that’s designed to make driving the 1500 smoother. This feature works by storing power in a lithium-ion battery that powers the 1500’s automatic start-stop system to enhance the truck’s performance while still conserving gasoline.

In addition, this battery adds bursts of power when needed for a little extra push, instead of draining the fuel tank. eTorque isn’t the same as a gas-electric hybrid system, but it improves the 1500’s overall functionality and drivability. The new 1500 has improved performance, fuel economy, and handling without sacrificing power.

Updated Frame

The Ram 1500 also gets a new updated frame. While it retains its aggressive stance and classic style lines, the 1500 has shed about 225 pounds. However, the new model is still just as spacious, and its new high-strength steel frame is stronger than previous models’.  The inclusion of more high-strength steel means that the Ram 1500 retains its towing and hauling abilities despite the weight loss.

New Technology

Modern vehicle technology has improved dramatically over the last few years. The 2019 Ram 1500 has a 12-inch touch screen and smartphone integration via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.  There are multiple USB ports throughout the vehicle for easy access, and Uconnect is available on any of the infotainment systems.

Front and rear parking sensors are also available. These can be paired with a navigation system, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking, and rear cross-traffic alert on some of the higher trim levels. Other available features include leather bucket seats, heated and ventilated front and back seats, adjustable air suspension, and a spray in bed-liner.

Customizable Options

There is almost no limit to customization when it comes to the Ram 1500. The trims are available in crew and quad cab, as well as with short, standard, or long beds. Optional features range from RamBox bed storage to towing and trailering components to blacked out grilles. Depending on what your intended use is, the Ram 1500 can be designed specifically as a work vehicle, a luxurious commuter car, or a combination of the two.

In addition, buyers can choose from a number of different available engines. The standard on all trim levels is the 3.6-liter V-6, which gets 305 horsepower. All of the trims besides the HFE can be upgraded to a monstrous 5.7-liter V-8. No matter what your dream configuration is, Ram can make it happen.

The 2019 Ram 1500 takes the Ram lineage to the next level. Loaded with technology and workhorse features, it combines the best of work and play in one vehicle.
