The New Dodge Durango’s Exciting Features
The 2024 Durango is equipped with both interior and exterior features that make it a must-see.
The standard V6 engine provides 295 horsepower, while the optional V8 engine offers up to a whopping 710 horsepower. But don’t be fooled, the Durango still boasts great fuel efficiency! With the V6, you’ll get an estimated 19 MPG city and 26 MPG highway. With the optional V8, you can expect an estimated 14 MPG city and 22 MPG highway.
Dodge used only the highest quality materials inside, giving it a luxury feel. The roomy interior ensures everyone is comfortable and the flexible seating options and a max 85.1 cubic feet of cargo space, it’s perfect for the entire family and all their sports gear, camping equipment, and anything else you need to transport.
Up front, you’ll find the best infotainment system on the market, with either an 8.4-inch display or an optional 10.1-inch screen. For the rear seats, you can add an optional entertainment system with dual screens and HDMI and RCA ports to connect any device.

The SXT is the base model, and it starts at $43,265. But even the base model is fully loaded with incredible features. You’ll get the standard V6 engine, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors, keyless entry, a 12-way power driver’s seat, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and 3-zone climate control.
The Durango GT starts at $45,765. With the GT, you’ll upgrade to 20-inch alloy wheels, a flat-bottom steering wheel, power liftgate, remote start, and rear automatic braking. Dodge also offers a GT Plus option–starting at $49,765–and a GT Premium option that starts at $52,170.
The Durango R/T, starting at $56,865, is the lowest model that allows for the addition of the 5.7-liter V8 engine. But standard with this model is a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, alpine audio, a wireless charging pad, sport-tuned suspension, and rain-sensing wipers. In addition to the base R/T model, there is an R/T Plus option that starts at $58,270 and an R/T Premium option, which starts at $61,770.
The Durango Citadel starts at $57,265. It comes standard with a V6 engine, but you have the option to add the V8. The interior takes comfort and luxury to a new level with soft Napa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seating, and a power sunroof. It’s also equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels and adaptive cruise control.
The Durango SRT 392–starting at $74,995–is equipped with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine, Quadra-trac AWD, Brembo brakes, a high-performance suspension and exhaust, and SRT drive modes to match the power of the engine. There is also an SRT 392 Plus option that starts at $80,995 and an SRT 392 Premium option, starting at $86,200.
The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat–the most premium, expensive model–starts at $95,995. The SRT Hellcat combines speed, luxury, and a roomy interior for the person who wants it all. With a 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 710 horsepower, competition suspension, 2-piece Brembo brakes, and an SRT steering wheel with paddle shifters, driving this Durango just has to be experienced. There is also an SRT Hellcat Plus option–starting at $101,995–and an SRT Hellcat Premium option that starts at $107,200.
